一、工作思路
本学期，九年级英语教研工作的主要思路是：以全面实施素质教育为宗旨，以提高英语教学质量为核心，突出以人为本的英语教学思想，以课堂教学和校本教研为中心，以提高教师研究教材、探索教法、以学生学习方式的改进与教师教学方式的优化为重点，为提高英语课堂教学质量奠定基础。

1、加强教育教学理论学习，认真研读课程标准，不断更新教育教学观念。
要求英语教师应在认真研读课程标准的基础上，深入钻研教材教法，更新教学观点，转变教师教的方式与学生学的方式，重视教师专业素质的培养。要求学校教研组组织教师经常开展业务学习，深入学习各类教育教学理论、课程理论、课程标准和专业知识，制订英语教研组相对独立的学习计划，并要求每周一次进行英语集体备课和理论探讨，注意英语学习知识体系的调整，注重以话题为功能，强调学生综合语言运用能力的培养，在教学中坚持以学生的学习为中心，帮助学生发展多元智能。各校英语教研组要高度重视教师的业务学习和理论学习工作，进一步完善学习制度，使广大英语教师养成读书、学习、记笔记和反思的良好习惯。鼓励教师参加自学考试，提高英语教师学历层次。
具体措施：
(1)、搞好集体备课，认真钻研教材教法。
(2)、充分把握教材特点，加强条理性
(3)、加强听力、口语训练量。其中包括听音训练，朗读口语交际训练读，写作训练和模拟听速的阅读训练。
(4)、提高阶段复习效率，加大阅读量的训练。
(5)、平时要研究中考题型，结合和把握中考命题趋势。
(6)、坚持每周四备课组活动，同时，本组教师将会互相听课、评课，以提高彼此的教学技能。
2、扎实做好初中英语教师培训工作
以人为本，加强教师队伍、教研队伍的培训与提高，提升师资水平和教研质量。为了促进教师转变教学观念，深刻理解课程标准的各项要求，改进教师教学方法，积累教学经验，并发挥区、市级骨干教师的带头作用，促进教师专业发展，帮助教师深入学习各类教育教学理论、课程理论、课程标准和专业知识，养成良好的学习习惯，培养自学能力，注重个案教学，积累典型案例，学习推广。提高教师课堂教学能力。通过教师的语音、口语、听力、专业知识、计算机操作、远程教育资源的运用及对教材教法与设计的系统培训，促进英语教师业务水平、理论水平和教学技能的不断提高，进一步提高教师的教学基本功及教学能力。
3、努力创造条件，加强研讨交流，为教师专业发展搭建平台
积极参与和促进校本研训。采取下校调研、听评随堂课、举办专题讲座、课例研讨、教学观摩等方式，以问题解决为载体，积极探索校本教研新途径。
4、加强教研组建设，充分发挥基层教研组的作用，以课堂教学和校本教研为中心，认真开展课例研究及课堂教学问题研讨工作要继续扎实有效的开展集体备课活动，进一步改进和完善集体备课的内容和方法，增强集体备课的科学性和实效性，充分发挥集体智慧，把教师的独立思考与合作交流进行有机的结合，认真开展课例研究及课堂教学问题研讨工作。
